The Rules

There are none! Just report your progress in regular intervals, and try to stop by the blogs of the others to post inspiring encouragement! Some participants, like Kat and Savannah, are taking a page from Beth and Stephanie and engaging in snarky commentary (this is a word war after all!), but only with each other. Don’t worry, you won’t get snarked unless you explicitly ask for it!

We’ll post tomorrow with everyone’s results.

Have fun, and thanks for participating!

I’ve finished with 3,051 words! I might write a few more paragraphs tonight once I’m over the fact that I’ve reached my goal 😛

      Congrats!! 🙂

Just met my goal. 3076 of my minimum 3000. Not pretty. Just barely. Who cares? I’m just excited I got there, especially after all the surprise socializing that ended up happening this evening.

Looks like Kat got you added!

  4. Amanda Van Tassell November 5, 2011 at 12:49 AM #

I finished! (41 minutes after it turned midnight where I am, but still…) 4,011 words!

Now to make another batch of candied almonds!

Mila and I finished with a collective 3200. Since we have a collective project, I think we’re okay with that. xD MUCH less than intended, though.

Complete at 3,572! I finished on time, just didn’t realize that I should comment here. I loved the word war. It definitely gave me some awesome motivation! 🙂

I just wanted to say I finished at 6,500 words. My internet disappeared last around six and couldn’t update my blog until this morning.

Thanks for the word war, ladies! It was a LOT of fun and it really boosted my word count!

    • Kat Zhang November 5, 2011 at 6:44 PM #
